Finding the right real estate agent to sell your property requires a careful selection process. In the middle of the night, I woke up with the recollection that Ann had been involved with the sale of our home in Sea Palms in 1986. Ann brought enthusiasm and energy to the table that got the property sold.

From the 1st moment I spoke with Ann Dempsey on the phone, I knew that she was the realtor for us. She was very interested in learning about our family as much as what we were looking for in a 2nd home. Not only did that personalize the process, but it also allowed Ann to help us find the perfect place. Since this was going to be a second home, we were prepared to play “the long game” to find a place- months or even years if necessary, as I told her up front. And yet, even though we live 1,000 miles away, through frequent communication, when we arrived over Spring Break, Ann had already identified a handful of places that would match our family.
And on that first day of looking we found “The One”!
Beyond that, however, Ann was incredibly helpful. It was our first home buying experience in over 20 years and we were unsure of much of the process and had many questions, but she deftly swung between motherly caring and matter-of-factly guiding us through the process. Even from Austin, Texas we felt secure that things were progressing well with the deal because of Ann’s attentiveness and responsiveness to our questions and concerns.
We did not interact often with other HC staff, but when we did they were friendly and accommodating.
We are so glad to have worked with Ann Dempsey and Hodnett Cooper. What a blessing!
